SHOWCASE

How I Work

When a client contacts me though the phone or email and wishes to commission me we'll talk about the project to get an understanding of it's size, deadline and payment, Once that's done I get a deposit to start working on the project.

First I get a basic ideal of what the image is about from the client, then I create a few quick concept sketches to show to my client, this is the most important stage because this is were the majority of changes will take place as well as shape the overall look and feel of the work.

concept sketch

Once the client gives the O.K. on the concept I move to tighten the concept in to a finish drawing, I use a red pencil because it's easier to make changes when I move to digital, In this stage there are rarely any changes made, All that was work out in concept stage. Once the client is ok with this stage I'll go and start the Rendering

finish pencil

I render all my finished work digitally using such programs as photoshop and Illustrator in this case I'm using photoshop. I use a wacom tablet it's a device that allows the user to draw and paint with great control on the computer, It allows me to draw and paint as I would do traditionally.

Once finish I send an e-mail saying that the picture is done I send a reduced quality version of the Image to show to the client, once the other half of deposit is sent I send the high quality version though a server where the client can download the file. the project is finish.
